Children's Health Alliance of Wisconsin
Established in 1994, Children's Health Alliance of Wisconsin is dedicated to collaboration, education and advocacy. The alliance continues to build a strong network of partners dedicated to addressing emerging children's health issues. In addition to our organizational staff, the alliance includes our Advisory Board member organizations and over 3,000 stakeholders throughout Wisconsin.

The Food Research and Action Center (FRAC) is a leading national organization working to improve public policies to eradicate hunger and undernutrition in the United States.

School Nutrition Association
ASFSA has been advancing the availability, quality and acceptance of school nutrition programs as an integral part of education since 1946. The Association strives to see that all children have access to healthful school meals and nutrition education.

Wisconsin Association of Health, Physical Education, Recreation & Dance (WAHPERD)
WAHPERD is the state association for physical education, health, and dance teachers. They are key promoters of Physical Best and are well-known fighters for children’s health.

Wisconsin Sports Development Corporation
WSDC is known for its presentation of the Wisconsin Ironman Triathlon, as well as Badger State Games. They recently announced a new partnership to bring the ESPN Great Outdoor Games to Madison. WSDC is also becoming known for programs like Shape Up! Wisconsin and Lighten Up! Wisconsin that focus on the health of all Wisconsin citizens.

Hunger Task Force (HTF)
HTF is interested in a range of nutrition-related issues, including the prevalence and quality of school breakfast programs, ease of access and benefit levels in food stamp programs, and encouraging healthy eating more generally.

Wisconsin Council on Children & Families (WCCF)
The Wisconsin Council on Children and Families, Inc. is a nonprofit, multi-issue child and family advocacy agency. Headquartered in Madison and Milwaukee, the Council's mission is to promote the well-being of children and families in Wisconsin by advocating for effective and efficient health, education, and human service delivery systems.

Healthy schools produce healthy students -- and healthy students are better able to learn and achieve their true potential. In Wisconsin, the state team is coordinated by Julie Allington, at Julie.Allington@dpi.state.wi.us

Team Nutrition
Funded by USDA, Team Nutrition works to improve the quality of nutrition within schools and child care centers. This program is in about 60 schools and day care centers statewide. The DPI Team Nutrition provides consulting services to help these schools and centers improve their program.

Wisconsin Nutrition Education Network
The Wisconsin Nutrition Education Network aims to improve physical activity and healthy eating habits among low-income caregivers of children. They have programs like “Walk, Dance, Play” and “Jump ‘n’ Jive” to promote activity and fitness.

Wisconsin School Food Service Association advocates providing healthy food and nutrition education for all children.
